Continuing my tryst with Dior’s Spring/Summer’16 collection, here’s the second look I styled, featuring their lingerie-alluding white cotton veil top and shorts as the base again, layered with an utterly delicate, almost vaporous long nude and pink striped silk organza dress with beautifully constructed sleeves. Keeping in mind the futuristic, metal-meets-delicacy aesthetic that Dior has been playing with, I accessorized with a Dioroscope choker with translucent brown and transparent resin discs, the Dioroscope single hoop earring adorned with translucent light pink resin discs and diorama sunglasses featuring tone-on-tone silver mirrored lenses. The Dioressence pump in rose pale and a silver metallized crinkled lambskin diorama bag finished the look.
Found me a couple of raw spots around Delhi streets instead of a usual picturesque location to shoot this look, with much help from photography genius Tarun Chawla on a gloomy Sunday morning. The end results made the effort seem totally worth it though, given how beautifully well the contrast of the backdrops plays against my luxe Dior look.
